3-Ply Shuttering Panel is available in a wide range of sizes, core panel types, thickness combinations,glue types and different color coatings. It has the advantages of light weight and high strength, good dimensional stability, fair-faced concrete effect, weather and acid resistance, easy processing and high reusability. It is commonly used in construction formwork for Slab Formwork, Slab Formwork, Bridge & Tunnel Construction, Precast Concrete Plants and Ancillary On-site Usage.

Adopts the 0°-90°-0° three-layer cross-pressing process, which effectively counteracts the internal stress of the wood. It ensures that the panel will never warp or twist under extreme temperature differences and harsh humidity environments.

Ensuring Quality in Every Sheet of 3 Ply Shuttering Panel

Our yellow shuttering boards are made of Spruce, Fir or Russian Pine grade B or above, the middle and outer layers are vertically bonded at a 90° angle with AW100 standard WBP phenolic glue, the surface is coated with a 120g/m2+ melamine resin laminate and sealed with industrial grade polyurethane (PU) or acrylic coatings. All finished products are fully destructively tested at to ensure that the product delivered to you fully meets all your standards and requirements.

We only use grade B or above Spruce, Fir or Russian Pine solid wood. Dead knots, rot or severe insect infestation are strictly excluded, and each piece of wood is processed in a PLC fully automated drying kiln to tightly control the moisture content to 8-12%. structural integrity and load-bearing capacity are guaranteed from the source.

The middle layer and outer layer are glued vertically at 90°, the middle layer adopts the German standard automatic typesetting machine, and the gap between the finger joints of the wooden strips is controlled within 1mm. Elimination of Core Voids inside the panel ensures that there will be no localized collapse when subjected to high strength concrete pressure.

We use WBP phenolic glue, which meets the European AW100 standard (weathering grade). 350-400 g/m² of precise glue application ensures that the glue penetrates deeply into the wood fibers, resulting in a strong bond that easily passes the 72-hour Boiling Test, and does not crack or split, even in humid or rainy construction environments.

Our 3 ply formwork boards undergo a two-stage pressing process ( cold pressing followed by hot pressing ). High-pressure curing is carried out at a temperature of 120°C – 130°C and a specific pressure ( 1.5-2.0 MPa ). Forms a strong monolithic unit with Bending Strength ≥ 40 N/mm² and Shear Strength ≥ 3.0 N/mm², able to withstand rough handling on site.

We completely fuse the high density melamine resin of more than 120g/m2 into the wood surface through a secondary hot pressing process. It has excellent resistance to alkaline concrete corrosion ( PH 12-14 ) and is sealed on all sides with industrial grade polyurethane (PU) or acrylic coatings, boasting a turnaround life of over 30 pours.

Custom Surface Colors

Surface melamine resin cladding is standard in yellow and 120g/m2 grammage, but we offer custom colors such as red, grey, or brown and a heavy-duty, hot-compacted melamine layer of 150g/m2 or even higher, designed specifically for Self-Compacting Concrete (SCC), which provides greater resistance to abrasion.

Custom Core Structure

We offer flexible core structures to suit your budget and strength requirements. You can choose from our Premium Balanced Construction 21mm (7-7-7mm) and 27mm (9-9-9mm) or our Intermediate Thick Core Construction 21mm (6.5-8-6.5mm) and 27mm (6.5-14-6.5mm) for high span load bearing projects.

Customizable Size Cutting

In addition to standard sizes (e.g. 500×2000/2500mm,100×2000/2500mm  ) with a thickness of 21mm/27mm, we offer customized non-standard sizes with an accuracy of ±1mm. For large bridges or shaped buildings, the product is “ready to use”. Construction speed is increased by 20%, and eliminates on-site waste.
