OSB 3 Board, also known as ‘Oriented Strand Board/3’ or ‘Moisture-Resistant Structural OSB Board’, is a high-performance load-bearing engineered wood panel designed for humid environments. It is manufactured by bonding multiple layers of wood strands in specific orientations using adhesive (Phenolic/MDI Glue) under high temperature and pressure.
Compared to OSB 1 and OSB 2, it offers superior strength and durability, load-bearing capacity, dimensional stability, and moisture resistance. It is commonly employed in construction projects within damp conditions, such as roof decking, wall sheathing, flooring, subflooring, I-joist webs, site hoarding, and formwork.
Features & Advantages
♦Excellent moisture resistance
♦Widely used in multiple scenarios
♦Stable and reliable structural strength
♦Good heat resistance and flame retardancy
♦Excellent workability and nail holding strength
♦Environmentally friendly and low formaldehyde
OSB 3 Specifications
OSB/3 panels are available in different sizes, thicknesses and types of core. They are strong, resistant to moisture, stable in size and easy to process. This makes them perfect for loads in humid conditions.
